Adams along with Giovanni Reyna were on target for the United States men's national team as they beat Mexico 2-0 to win their third consecutive CONCACAF Nations League title in Texas on Sunday. During the title celebrations, the USMNT skipper brought his infant son Jax onto the pitch who was left unimpressed by Christian Pulisic's winner's medal as he looked away every time the AC Milan star tried to show him the prize.

Adams and his partner Sarah Schmidt confirmed in November that the couple were pregnant and then in January they gave birth to a baby boy. Jax, accompanied by his mother, was in attendance during USMNT's semi-final win over Jamaica last week.
